Our Conference Speakers:

a. Theo Koffler, Founder and CEO, Theo Koffler weaves her business talents and passions for humanity to profit and not-for-profit organizations, internationally. Mother, entrepreneur, educator and peace activist, Theo co-founded Super-Pharm, Israel's leading drugstore chain and has devoted decades of service to the Therapeutic Riding for the Disabled in Israel and recently launched Therapeutic Riding in Jericho. In 2007, Theo founded Between Four Eyes, a global initiative that teaches mindful awareness-based strategies to educators and health care professionals in the Middle East and Africa. The initiative's long-term goal is to shift attitudes and foster individual well-being in conflict and post-conflict communities. www.betweenfoureyes.org

 

b. Gary Diggins, Senior Teacher and Program Advisor, Gary Diggins serves through three distinct roles: musician, teacher, and therapist. As a musician, Gary has recorded five CDs of original music, composed soundtracks for Canadian films, and shared the stage with artists such as Stevie Wonder to promote peace. As a teacher, he has facilitated leadership development courses for major, multi-national corporations as well as not-for-profit organizations. Gary is a faculty member for Fleming College, IC International, and Toronto SoundSource. As a therapist, Gary maintains a private practice that combines music therapy with transformational psychology. www.garydiggins.com

 

c. Soren Gordhamer, Senior Teacher and Program Advisor, Soren Gordhamer is a father, writer, and teacher who offers consciousness-based programs to both individuals and groups. He is the author of forthcoming book, Wisdom 2.0: Ancient Teachings for the Creative and Constantly Connected (Harper One, 2009), one of the first books to give practical tools for living creatively and effectively in the technology age. He is also the author of the meditation book, Just Say OM! (Adams Media, 2001), and Meetings with Mentors (Hanford Mead, 1995). Soren is the founder of the Lineage Project in New York City, which won the Mayor's Voluntary action award from former Mayor Rudolph Guiliani for its innovative stress reduction programs for at-risk and incarcerated teens. As former Project Director for actor Richard Gere's public charity, Healing the Divide, Soren organized the Healing through Great Difficulty Conference, which brought His Holiness the Dalai Lama in conversation with former teen and adult prisoners to explore how to heal from great pain and suffering. Soren has lectured and taught stress reduction programs in a wide variety of settings, from New York City juvenile halls to the technology company, Google. He has completed training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and the Community Dharma Leader's training course conducted by Spirit Rock Center in northern California.
